bilingual focus groups

Focus groups can be especially useful and insightful to understand sensitive subject matter, such as undesirable manager or employee behaviours in the workplace (e.g. bullying, harassment), psychological health and safety, understanding conflict situations, etc. The Entegritē partners have been designing and moderating focus groups for many years, and have been moderating exclusively online since 2020. Not only are we a safe and neutral external third-party, but we bring a wealth of training and expertise in the form of specific moderating techniques to maximize the effectiveness of the focus group dynamic; all to get to the heart of the issues, which in turn leads to effective actions.

Online Focus Groups - Asynchronous or Synchronous

As we slowly emerge from the pandemic, we must note that qualitative research has changed forever. While there is still place for the traditional in-person focus group in specialized facilities, online focus groups have shown they can also yield considerable insight at a fraction of the cost. Synchronous qualitative research can now be conducted with participants from across the country and around the world, while asynchronous qualitative using platforms such as Recollective can provide participants with the ability to respond in their own time and incorporate discussions, images and video.

group facilitation

The Entegritē partners have extensive experience in group dynamics and facilitating group meetings to achieve desired outcomes, all the while ensuring that all participants feel they can participate fully and meaningfully. In addition, we also facilitate meetings in both English and French (and sometimes some combination of the two!). We are often called upon to facilitate group meetings ranging from 6 to 156 participants to help groups:

  • develop and articulate their mission and vision

  • develop strategic plans and tactics

  • develop action plans

  • improve teamwork and collaboration
